Räuchertofu Klassik

The classic version of smoked tofu. Smoked with beech wood and refined with shoyu. The mild spiciness and beautiful crust combine to create an exceptional mouthfeel. Simply enjoy cold with a snack or in salads. Excellent fried with vegetable dishes, rice, potatoes or pasta, we smoke exclusively with beechwood smoke. A metal wheel rubs against a log of beech wood until it reaches a temperature of 300 - 400° C. The resulting smoke gives the products their special aromatic note. Conventional smoking processes reach temperatures of up to 800° C and more. The process we use makes it possible to significantly minimize exposure to harmful substances.
Serve cold as a snack or crispy fried as a topping in salads. Ideal as a savory note in vegetable dishes, with rice, potatoes or as a special pizza topping.
