For our Date Package No.1, we have put together a selection of four fresh date varieties from four different countries. Both the convinced date lover and those who have never eaten the fruit before should get to know the fascinating variety of this wonderful desert fruit. The four varieties in our tasting package are completely different, not only in appearance but also in taste and texture: The Mazafati date from south-east Iran has a soft, fine-fibered flesh and is probably the tastiest variety in the box. The Israeli Medjool date is particularly fleshy, fruity and sweet and is often nicknamed the "queen of dates" due to its generous size. The sugar-sweet succari from Saudi Arabia is immediately recognizable by its intense caramel taste. In contrast, the Tunisian Deglet Nour, which is slightly smaller and firmer, has a subtle sweetness and aromas reminiscent of honey and nuts. All our dates come from certified organic cultivation. It is particularly important to us to think holistically and sustainably! It is very important to us to maintain personal contact with our farmers, to support consistently fair working conditions, to promote good things with our actions and to make a positive contribution to the future.
