The fleshy and tender pods grow straight, long and round. The plant is resistant to unfavorable weather conditions and produces a good yield. You can improve its stability by mounding it later. Be sure to water in dry weather. TIP: With runner beans, the skin of the bean may be very hard and the seedling may not be able to break through it. The Neckarkönigin germinates more reliably if it is grown in pots and the seeds are roughened slightly on one side, e.g. with sandpaper, before planting.
